TECHNICAL STUDIES
Glassblowing
During a workshop at the Glazenhuis (Lommel, Belgium) with the artist Ilse Van Roy, I had the wonderful opportunity to try the glassblowing technique.
I made two glass pieces. The first one is a turquoise bubble, the easier form to make. The second one is made from blowing in a mold. It looks like a pepper (which makes me laugh) and I chose to make it bright orange/red to bring that form analogy out.
